     MediaSwitch MCU 400 follows the international H.323 standards, can carry out mutual communications with various standard videoconferencing terminals.

     MediaSwitch MCU 400 is the hardware platform structure that matches the industry standard completely, 19 inches 1U hardware equipments. It can be installed independently in any position, can be also installed together with other network equipments in 19 inch standard machine cabinet. The equipment has a power supply socket and four 100M Ethernet ports.

(1) Conference Management

Conference Management newly reform, establish members database. In a meeting,the chairman only fetch the data from the new database.It also can be added directly to the establishment of a new session. Establish fluent meeting can be transferred directly each subsequent meeting, extremely convenient.

(2)Variety of work mode

It has four modes: manual control, voice active, taking turns as chairman, taking turns as audience, and it also can switch between them conveniently. In manual mode, the speakers, or the chairman may need to dynamically specify. In voice active mode, it can automatically send the audio and video data of current speaker to the other participants; in the take turns as chairman mode, the chairman will automatically alter between all the members according to the time interval set. In the take turns as audience mode, the chairman is specified by the users. According to the time interval set, listeners alter automatically between all members, except the member of chairman.

(3) Support continuous presence television display:

It is in the case of not affecting the existing system, and it takes a separate network interface. Multi-channel audio and video data will be transmitted to the venue of the independent television decode output server. Selective in the center hall of the venue while watching multiple images.

(4)Hands for qustions:

The function is to speak when their hands raised in the course of the session. The current venue can speak when its appliacation is authorized by the chairman.

MediaSwitch MCU 400 could do real time multi-channel voice mix, so that every participant can hear the others’ voice information simultaneously. To avoid self-excited, echoes the emergence of such phenomena, every participant can’t hear their own voice. In the process, it can dynamically choose whether select voice mix or not.

(6)Multi-image mix

In the H.261 video format, MediaSwitch MCU 400 can do asymmetric mix of four pictures (the bandwidth of every picture from other terminal may be different);
