MediaSwitch MCU 500 is based on CPCI structure,and modular
design. It also complies to H.323 telecommunications pure hardware video conferencing multipoint control
unit. This product provides wealth of handling/interface single MCU board; the single MCU board is based
on the embedded system desing. The system supports hot swap, automatic configuration, a plug-and-play,
multi-power backup. MediaSwitch MCU 500 provides telecommunication-class reliability and safety,
and rich management functions. It is the ideal equipment for enterprises, service providers,
carriers to realize multi-point videoconferencing.

(1) Conference Management
Have right management functions to prevent illegal
manipulation on the conference.
(2)Variety of work mode
It has four modes: manual control, voice active,
taking turns as chairman, taking turns as audience, and it also can switch between them conveniently. In manual mode, the speakers, or the chairman may need to dynamically specify.
(3) Multi-channel voice mix
MediaSwitch MCU 500 could do real time multi-channel voice mix,
so that every participant can hear the others¡¯ voice information simultaneously. To avoid self-excited,
echoes the emergence of such phenomena, every participant can¡¯t hear their own voice.
In the process, it can dynamically choose whether select voice mix or not.
(4)Multi-image mix
TIn the H.261 video format, MediaSwitch MCU 500 can do
asymmetric mix of four pictures
(the bandwidth of every picture from other terminal may be different);
(5) Caption Settings
MediaSwith MCU 500 can support two kinds of caption displays:
conference caption and member captain (conference caption is released information of conference,
members caption is terminal name). Caption color, location, background are adjustable.
When the conference caption excess wordage of showing width, it will automatically scroll.
(6)Support multicast function
Optional multicast video data are received and
shown through multicast receiving software through multicast receiving software.
Multicast receiving software could be installed on a PC of any network segment.
At the software multicast receiving end, any channel of multicast data can dynamically
selected or received. Multicast functions greatly enlarge conference scale without
influencing the Video Conference.
(7)Conference Schedule
Participants can set up lists and schedules.
Thereby realize the function of convening participants automatically, and has no need
to initiate a call, neither to invite one by one by operator.
